Working in the studio is informed by a range of considerations

• the season (hot or cold? Canberra is a place of four distinct seasons)

• the work schedule (a deadline near or far)

• the project (personal, commission, exhibition)

• physical scale of the work or quantity of works and space required

• stage of the work (testing, creating, making, carving, drying, firing, packing etc)

• research trips/travel disrupting and/or informing the work process.
